This poster is in Very Good toFine condition and was Linenbacked.
The poster looks very good and I believe most collectors would be happy to display it on their wall, but you be the judge from the picture above.
Prior to linenbacking the poster had tiny tears and tiny paper loss down the vertical foldline. There was tape on the back of most of the folds. There were pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the person who restored it did not touch up the tiny paper loss on the vertical foldline within the insert image however, any talented restorer could touch up that area without re-backing the poster. The poster displays beautifully.
Linen-backing is used to preserve movie posters which makes the movie poster much easier to display. Linenbacking adds to the value of the movie poster and makes the quality more visible.
