This poster is in Very Good to Fine condition and was Linenbacked.

The poster looks very good and I believe most collectors would be happy to display it on their wall, but you be the judge from the picture above.

Prior to linenbacking the poster had a 1/4" x 1 1/2" area of paper loss at the middle crossfold (partly in Elvis' waist and partly in the white background). There were creases and a couple of other tint areas of paper loss in the middle foldline.  Other than the above, the poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking.  The poster was well backed, and the area of paper loss at the center of the poster was so expertly restored that I am sure few people would realize it.  The poster displays beautifully. 

Linen-backing is used to preserve movie posters which makes the movie poster much easier to display.  Linenbacking adds to the value of the movie poster and makes the quality more visible.
