Otto was listed under the writing credits and presented the movie "The Transgressor". Goebel and associates (Goebel and his two sister-in-laws) succeeded in taking $3,000,000 from 400 Roman Catholic priests, 6,000 laymen with the proposal to make "movie and talkie pictures of a thoroughly highclass, moral type, such as would appeal to church people." The trial lasted 109-Days with 30 witnesses for the defense, 60 witnesses for the prosecution, and two clerks to keep track of the 941 exhibits. It only took the jury overnight to reach a verdict of guilty of all charges.
