This poster has been linen-backed and you may still see some slight evidence of the restoration and/or the defects when you look at the poster from inches away, and you may be able to see slight signs of restoration (or small unrestored defects) even from a distance, but they are surely the type that are not very noticeable or distracting. The poster now looks quite nice, and I think most collectors would be quite happy to display this poster on their wall.

Pre-Restoration Defects & Quality of Restoration: The poster was never folded. There were a few very tiny areas of paper loss in the image including two tiny ones in Pidgeon's forehead. The poster was attached to a wall with tape in each corner, and the tape is gone, but there are stains in each corner, and there are some minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and the image area looks great. The restorer did not touch up the tape stains in the corners, likely both because they are not distracting, and because they likely may not show when the poster is framed.
